Black Sea Yatirim ve Ticaret A.Ş. was founded in 2022 in Istanbul, Turkiye by banking industry veteran Umair Saeed Chairman & CEO. At its helm is Mr. Haroon Rashid CFA, Chief Operating Officer.. BlackSea’s raison d’etre was forged from a dislocation in the market of under-served large food processors intending to expand globally, underpinned by a long-term view, to match their global ambitions with the continuous supply of quality Agri produce.
BlackSea has built over 20 South Asia & MENA based large corporate relationships and works with various large scale industrial food processing conglomerates including:

Our Core
BlackSea functions as an intermediary for Agri commodities suppliers based in Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Turkiye & Australia. This collaborative effort aims to increase their geographic footprint and expand their reach on a global scale. By doing so, we contribute to the growth of local companies, allowing them to leverage their Agri products to a broader customer base.
BlackSea sources premium agricultural commodities consistently for our large-scale corporate food processing clients mostly based in South Asia.
